technicolor travels.

i'm still schlepping my wares to the san marcos farmer's market every saturday morning. the crowds come in waves....some recognize the value and beauty of hand-made items, others sometimes scoff at the prices. on the whole, it's a lucrative and rewarding experience. i enjoy meeting my customers face-to-face and seeing their faces light up when they discover a piece of jewelry or a dress that feels like it was made for them.

this saturday, you will find me not at the farmer's market, but at the Cowtown Indie Bazaar in Fort Worth. come say hi and try on same fancy frocks and frippery! xoxo!

Taking my wares outdoors isn't something a shy gal like me does often, but I agree meeting my customers and seeing their eyes light up totally makes up for the occasional tight-fisted curmudgeon. Good luck.

Shows are so fun. They can be so exhausting, but I think so worth it for an artist. Its good to see that light in someone's eyes when they see one of your creations...instead of just bidding the item farewell at the post office ;)

SO shall I see you at the Girlie Show this fall? Gonna cross that Red River? ;)
