say something charming.

a quote i'd like to share {because i don't have much else to say right now} found via JunkerVal who discovered it, handwritten in beautiful script, in the back of a circa 1920/1930 book:

"To live with small means,
to seek elegance rather than luxury,and refinement rather than fashion,
to be worthy, not respectable and wealthy,not rich;
to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly;
to listen to stars and birds, to sages and babes with open heart,
to bear all cheerfully,
do all bravely,
await occasions, hurry never;
in a word
let the spiritual, unbidden, and unconscious,grow up through the common;
this is to be my symphony."

{the night we never came home, necklace}
possibly for sale...soonly.

What a beautiful quote, and so true. Hope you had a nice birthday - forgot to say Happy Birthday but do it now ;-)

And what a pity you gave up your flickr photostream, I loved browsing your pictures as they´re so inspiring, but I can understand you - I often feel the computer-thing takes far to much of my time, too.

How are things going with your little nephew?

Take care, Kirsten

Ha! You are such a tease with that necklace ;) It's too too.
That quote is very lovely too. I am in the midst of learning the lesson that sometimes less is more. And sometimes you're already where you need to be.

Are you doing any shows this spring? Why is Texas so big and why are you at the bottom of it? lol....
