it snowed yesterday:
i don't know if i have birthday plans yet. i'd been wanting to go out to the farm for a mid-day campfire and maybe some hotdogs and s'mores...but the weather's been weird, i have a little show coming up at Garbo on the 11th, and we're 1 week away from the court date for my nephew jj's custody hearing (which has been weighing heavily on us all for quite some time now). i don't like discussing the situation publicly right now, so i'll just leave it at that. in an ideal world, my mum will move to san marcos, live across the street, and jj will become a permanent part of our lives. and, of course, we'll shower him with attention, gifts, art, and the best private education {with what little money i have} can buy.
on a lighter note, the sun is shining today and all is peaceful on the homefront. seems like a good day for sewing.

Ooooh...that ring is too much. Love love love it. And hope all goes well with the hearing. Things like that are so heart wrenching when little ones are involved. I know one thing though, he has a wonderful aunt! Too bad we're not related, Audrey could use some private education, hehehe...

I hoped to see you for your birthday, Celena said she thought you were going on a trip, but with all the court stuff, I didn't know what to think! Am thinking of you and will have a handmade pressie for you before too much longer! Hopefully we'll have a celebratory get together soon!
